queensland Quicky at Maroon dam 16/12

Woke dad at 3 this morning and headed to Maroon dam to test out the new Pontoon21 Loco Perrito's on some Bass. Well the Bass were shy with a hand full of half hearted strikes, but we did find one willing to play the game, it went 36cm and played up for a little fella. Gonna give the Bream a stir tomorrow with the Loco's

Nice fish mate - maroon is a pain when the fish just shut down like that. So still keen for tomorrow morning?

Yeah mate they're great. They have a nice tight walk, they can be worked slow or quick and maintain a good walk. Work your rod tip low with an up and down flick action or keep your rod tip at a medium height with the same action for best results. Then all that needs to be done is add some pauses, mix it up or a continues walk. Today I stuck with the Gold Chartreuse colour but tomorrow I am hitting the GC Bream and I will be using the Threadfin, Ghost and Bloody tiger prawns and will post up how I go
