Hey guys looking at getting a good set of fishing Polaroids. What do you all recommend, and what lense colour??

I have polarised Ray Bans and they work ok. Personally not as good as my mates spotters but when mine are clean they provide good balance between sunny/polarised glasses.

People say to look for glasses with photchromatic lense though so look into that?

Yeah the snotters are good. I have a bronze pair and happy with them.

With out a doubt they would have to be the Costa Del Mar range with the 580 copper coloured glass lenses.

Currently using Maui Jim Breakwalls and they've been nothing but awesome. Can easily see bream feeding under pontoons from a fair distance away.

I'm on my second pair of Maui Jims now. Love them. First pair I stood on and they replaced them free of charge.

It's amazing how far into the water you can see with a quality pair of polaroid sunnies.

I went for Banyans because I like very light sun glasses. They weigh next to nothing.

have a pair of "mangrove jacks" polarised lenses.. the one i wore today when we bumped into eachother, and im very happy with them. Can see some fish when my mates havent been able to see them. Cost $80

Sounds like Maui Jims seems to be the goer. Never heard of them but will have to look em up.

$250 and up in most places but I'm sure if you look online you can score a pair from OS for under 200. It's worth getting a decent pair of sunnies in our part of the world....you only have one set of peepers so it pays to look after them.

My Maui jims were 350 dollars... but worth every bloody cent. i use to hate wearing sunnies always gave me a headache and just were annoying. untill i brought tha maui jims. forget im wearing them most time and the glass lenses dont scratch and handle a knock around. and can see fish easy. great sunnies. well worth the coin

I love my spotters. I have the Coyote with a gold lense. I can easily wear them from sunrise til sunset, very comfortable.
