Land Based 40 minutes from Brisbane/Ipswich?

hey guys

Since the floodgates have been recently opened the turbulent murky water of the Brisbane river doesn't look good. I was wondering if someone could point me in the direction of a landbased fishing within 40 minutes of Brisbane/Ipswich. I was heading down to the gold coast but I don't know if I can get down there.

I would still be trying the brissy mate.. sometimes the bass really get turned on by the change in the water. worth a good shot anyway. I would be using tt blades and using them liek a plastic off the bottom.

brisbane river is actually quite lively at the moment at night anywhere from oxley to bulimba. I noticed setting the bait close to shore the bream will have it in the in going tide, same as threadies. threadies been going after whole dead prawns. I caught my first bullie last monday on just a prawn. try it and see, but be prepared for catfish. they are in at the moment.
