Caught the bass bug

Think I have finally gotten the bug. With the strong winds offshore last week or two Ive been doing alot of freshwater fishing since my last post. Don't know if they are spot 'x' or not but have seem to be firing at all the spots I've been fishing. Managed alot of small bass yesterday on spinnerbaits and pulled a nice yellow in the mid 50's.

I have noticed that alot of the people fishing aren't using spinnerbaits and are using either vibes or hardbodies. Is there a reason for it? Do you catch more on H/B then you will on spinnerbaits?

What's everyones choice in spinnerbaits?

I brought a few impact spinnerbaits from tackle world sandgate and personal opinion im a big fan of them on the other hand i bought some TT baits and wasnt a big fan of them at all. The impact baits are locally made and are paint by PML also come with great trailer hooks.

It's more a case of what lures you're more confident with.

I tend to use smaller sized HB (floating/divers).

I like spinnerbaits for exploring new water as they're fairly snag proof.

By far my most used lures are surface ones for early morning & late afternoon/evening sessions.

Shim the impacts are greatly overpriced as are a lot of s/baits these days I find I catch more bass on beetlespins

I've been going ok with the TT spinners with a little Damiki grub.
