Best Knot??

Just wondering what the best knot for joining line to leader for fishing lures/plastics?? any reliable knots you guys use ..and perhaps a description of tying or photo be much appreciated! Cheers ..Richo

I use Kanelt for my light stuff. Very fine knot.

Learning mid knots for my heavier gear, but hardly use that gear.

If your going braid to leader a lot of people recommend the slim beauty. Tried it last weekend and it seems like a strong knot. Took a fair few goes to get it tightened up correctly but.

I have just started using the double uni and i find it is quite easy and strong.

i've used a bimini twist to slim beauty in the past. but due to the slight kink in line it sometimes gets stuck

these days I use a bimini twist to gt knot. it casts better than the slim beauty and holds very well.

havent had my lines broken off at the knot yet.

as for soft plastics and lures it depends on weight

I usually use a blood knot to clip for ease changing lures

for ultra light setups the weight of swivel will affect lure action so I tie a rapala knot directly to the lures/plastics

For braid to leader I use this one.

Nice and compact and easy to tie.
