Need some Advice

Now that I am a member of the tupperware brigade, appart from decking out the yak I need to set myself up for that style of fishing. 99% of my tackle is based around fishing the bay/offshore. After any ones suggestions on their go to lures for fishing lakes, creeks, canals etc for jacks, gts, bream, tarpon, giant herring etc any species really but if you have any stand out lures. Could be plastics, vibes, stickbaits, diving lures what ever.

Thanks for the help

6 to 8 lb braid, 15 to 20 lb fluoro, placcys i would use sliders in gold glitter and cotton candy or nukey chicken 3 inch, also gold blades 1/8, river2sea flexi vib been my number 1 canal lure for the year for me. They catch everything, jacks, tarpon, trevs, flatties...the lot!!

Damiki 4" Ripper in skin blue - awesome squite plastic off the front wall of the Brissie river.

Flicking plastics around pontoons mate, ecogear aqua bream prawns are the current craze, but I tend to find myself using gulp turtleback works with the front 4 or 5 segments trimmed off, just flick it on a 1/40th hidden jig head and wait as it wafts down. Also gulp shrimp go alright, the z-man shrimpz get a pretty decent write up too

All good advice so far....my only comment is not to go too crazy buying the entire tackle shop (easier said than done). A handful of 2 or 3 inch Gulp prawns, a few blades and couple hard bodies will cover most opportunities. I have not found a lure that does not catch fish yet...at times fish in the Bay are just crazy and hit anything. Using minimum weight jighead and small diameter fluoro line equally important as lure choice....as is being quiet while on the water..
