Just headin down to Murwillumbah for xmas and i found this dam on google maps, has anyone fished it before? can someone please give me some info of any fishing regs i should know and whats in there?

Its in NSW so completely different regs to QLd. You need a nsw fishing license and gates are shut at night . Its a pretty dam so if the fish are off the bite still worth a look around. No petrol powered craft allowed.

Well me and my grandpa went there today and didnt catch a fish, we were pretty limited to where we could actually fish off the bank coz there were so much lilly pads and you couldnt get your lure through them, you really need a yak to do any good there, it is so deep , i was using jackalls and in one spot i counted 34 seconds before i hit the bottom, anyone wanna share a good bass spot land based on the north side? i gotta get my grandpa on to the bass lol he only comes to qld once every 2 years
