Great Barrier Reef Fishinggg

Went out on a Quick trip with the Heron island fisho's to catch some dinnnerrr. Motoring out past the Marine park, we dropped anchor in about 18m of water, 50m from the reef drop off. Dropping down some BIIGGGG fresh Squid, didn't have to wait long as captain "lance" hooked into a nice looking fish and pulled up the first Red emperor of the day, a little fella, back down to mum.

My turn to hook into something with a bit of go! Pulling up my first Red Throat Emperor! Cast after cast pulling up fish after fish, Red Emp/Red Throat/Coral Trout/ Coronation Trout/Blue Morwong and heaps of different Cod.

The sharks were active and being.. yeah
