So Kurt after talking to you tonight and hearing about this deal with the skirt I thought this might be just what it takes to appease the weather god who up until now has certainly been holding something against you. So I can't change the weather, but, my wife's parents have been faithful church goes for 40 years and there is a group of old ladies there that all get together and pray when someone gets sick or what have you, I've been told by nellie's folks they get results so I've put an urgent request in for you, I simply said "hi old prayer ladies, I have a friend who has been constantly going through stormy weather, this weekend he really wants to "COME OUT " the other side, we could do with some sunny days for calm sailing" let's hope they come through haha so you won't just be trawling a skirt you'll be wearing one too:-)) :P:lol::lol:  :side: :pinch:

With the good weather you guys should be heading to the Gravel Patch to get away from the fresh. Apparently Palmy and Mermaid are still feeling the effects from the dam release, which is good for the bronzies but not to good for the macks.

A shame, I was keen to get the yak wet on the weekend chasing the macks, might just have to stick to the bay.

I am coming Saturday morning. I was thinking of arriving about 2am to spend some time catch livies before the real fishing starts. Any idea if I should stay in the broadwater for getting live bait or head out a bit? Would like to get some live squid if I can.

not sure where to collect Squid. the Bait grounds are close by to the Seaway. Not hard to find at night. Have you been outside before?

Only been outside once before for a look around and get the feel for the new boat. I didn't do any fishing though.

if you are comfortable going outside in the dark I can send you at couple of marks that hold yakkas and sometimes Slimies. Let me know if you are going to head out?
