Last night I went fishing with Tiab in the Brisbane River.

First stop was at Colmslie where we threw the net for arond 20 prawns and a dozen assorted herring and poddies.

Looks like a good prawn season coming up as there were a lot of small prawns escaping the net.

We then headed off up town where we set up camp and deployed our livies.

Settled down in our camp chairs and---------------

Watched the fffnnn storm come in.

Packed up and went home before we got soaked.

It was worth it just for the drive through the valley this old perv had his eyeballs hanging out. :whistle:

Ah well at least it was a bit of an adventure out and had to laugh a. your valley trip.

I had to go in to the big smoke the other day for a course and came away with a mild whip lash.

Fffffnnnn storm alright! The drive was nice and catch up was great anyway. Will get you onto a thready or bully next time Ray.

Just as well we checked out www.bom.gov.au to know what we were in for. Good thing we left.
