Abu Soron Spin Rod - 6'6", 3-5kg, 2 Piece

Hi Guys, during the BRC my mum accidently knocked the tip off my beloved Abu Soron Spin Rod on accient. I contacted sweetwater fishing about it and all they said was that it's useless, it cannot be repaired, it's not covered by warrenty and that it needs to be thrown away. I didn't just throw it away, and it's still in my bedroom sitting lonely in the corner. So I was wondering if maybe (just maybe) if I could bet a company or someone to get my the top half of this rod? I know that it's most likely not possible, but I thought, I would give it a try and post this question up here. I really like this rod and would like to get it up and running again. Also, if my request is not possible, I would then throw it away.

All input and advice would be much much appriciated.

I would suggest it could be repaired and still function well, albeit with a slightly altered action and a little shorter. Take it to a rod repairer and see what they can do and how much it will cost roughly and go from there, if you can pick up a new one for 99 it might not be worth repairing it.
