queensland snappa a wk ago

got some pics back from last trip, westerly blew and it wasnt a great trip, plenty of spewing a few good nobbies the flu, cold wind, july is not a good month for offshore fishn in a small boat, most the snappa were less than 70cm this trip with a few good ones around 80, they dont seem real thick this season. we get spoiled too many times, there good just wasnt enuf of em for the effort. now and then there is dazza ill pm ya if i get a spare spot sometime.

Still nice fish.

A bit sad that the numbers aren't there. Is it going to be a late season or a dud season. Maybe you scared em off in your terroist outfit.

The fish are copping a flogging from all the pros i dont think its easy to get a true idea when they really come on, its just how long the fire for, the size is the main thing i go buy, normally we see bigger fish next month in larger numbers, time will tell.

Oh mate, What a rippa, Thats the type of post that keeps me going.

This may upset a couple of people but I'm sick of looking at Bass....

Maybe down the track I'll be bitten buy the bass bug? But for now I'm to wrapped up in salt water.

largest on my line was about 70cm 4kg, the one in the night pic was about 80cm, 7kg.

the snapper actually arent getin a flogin by the pro's out there cause no1's really getin any snapper out caloundra area. This season most the good snapper are gettin caught round near goldcoast I think.
