queensland Currimundi Lake

I will be visiting Currimundi Lake this coming weekend any info on fish in this area would be appreciated.

Last time I was there Jordan got a few massive Whiting, and I mean massive. Talking 1kg Whiting. There's also quite a few Flatties in there as well as Bream and quite a few small pelagics also like Chopper Tailor, Queenfish and Trevally. Though nothing in there is of big size usually, except for those freak Whiting.

I have heard of good sized MJ,s being caught there. Only prob its the wrong time of the year.

fished it heaps there are quite a few jacks in there I got my best jack in there at 48cm. fish around the bridge and just east of the bridge is a submerged rocks sign its big and bright yellow you cant miss it. fish around the general area with plastics and hardbodys and im sure you will get a few. I have caught trevaly,tailer,jacks,bream etc

yer mate, i catch plenty of queenys and big big flathead at the mouth but also you get alot of gts aswell and further up you get alot of small flathead bream jack and trevally and its always good there
