Capacity label ??????????????????

madmullet

Recommended Posts

i reckon its more than likely a tender from 1 of the larger boats morred out there. Outboard loooks small enough not to have to register the boat.

If its not registerable then capacity labels are not required.

it has got rego numbers on it....

but evan so, a little common sence doesnt evert hert...

i dont no my laws on tenders, but are they not to say on them tender to...eg tender to madmullet and then the rego no#

TendersTenders to registered recreational boats are exempt from registration

providing they are used within two nautical miles of the mother boat.

All tenders should be adequately equipped to satisfy the general safety

obligation. Tender owners and operators need to be aware that regulation

also specifies the safety equipment to be carried in certain circumstances.

The tender must be marked with the word ‘tender’ and the mother boat

registration numbers, at least 75mm high, on the exterior

of the tender, or if this is not possible, marked on the

inside of the boat in the largest characters practicable.

The tender may be marked with the owner’s name or

business name if it is used for more than one of the

owner’s boats.

well i have brushed up on my laws.... yay....

Not having a capacity label doesn't excuse not having common sense

Bet they didn't have enough lifejackets if it went pear shaped either
