queensland Last weeks bass sesh and today

Gday all

Last week, 2 mates and myself hit up the bass for an arvo/night sesh. I was planning on heading home around 6, but ended up getting home around 1.30 in the morning cause the action was that hot. We got around 35 bass between us, every single one caught off the surface on jitterbugs. Dylan nailed the biggest of the night being a cracker at 55 to the tip. We managed a couple double hookups and one tripe hookup which was sweet as.

Todays Report

Slept in this morning and launched at 8am, but didn't really matter... cause the fish still came out too play. All morning I fished deep divers, and the bass seemed to be hitting the brighter colours, so thats what I stuck with. Got 4 bass all between 35FL-40FL to start off with, before I landed a better fish smack bang on 50cm overall.

All day It was a matter of sorting through the catties before I'd get a bass. Stacks of em, some real beasts too over 50cm, which had me convinced a number of times that I had a good bass. Later on, managed a nice yella, a PB, which was 54cm. The remainder 2-3 hours I caught probably another 6-7 bass all around 40ish and some small fella's. Got smoked once by a quality fish, and a few fish had me wrapped on a log, but managed to get all of them out eventually At about 2.30, I was happy to call it a day .
