Bow Mount - Foot control position

I am mounting my bow mount on the tinny this weekend, and have never had one before. For the guys that do, where do you have the foot control? I am tossing up weather I should screw it down, or just add velcro on the bottom so it can be moved around on the carpeted casting deck

dont screw it down. The whole ideas of it is so you can still control your motor and follow the fish around the boat if need be.

Yea don't fix it to the floor.

Best thing is being able to kick it around the floor to where ever you need it.

I bought a wireless one so its even easier to kick around.

On a smaller tinny its better to have it NOT screwed down so you can move it around where ever you need it

Thanks guys, that's what I wanted to know, whether I will ever want to move it around. Would you suggest the velcro, or leave it free?
