Brisbane River Boat Hire? Recommendations?

Neither my wife nor I have a QLD boating license (nor does the jeep have a tow bar), but I'd like to get out on the river and attempt to fight some fish.

Does anybody know of a boat hire place for the river that rents out boats small enough that a license isn't required?

Yeah im not talking about skeeter speeds but you want to be able to move around at a decent speed - witha 6hp, 2 people and gear you'll really struggle to move around (i doubt very much you'd be able to plane that boat).

It really will be working hard against wind/tide/current with a 6hp.

To be honest Gary I have searched in the past and never seen a bris river boat hire. I think there is a boat hire at west end... Brisbaneboathirw I think it's called. Or you could even try boab boat hire..not sure about the unlicenced friendly boats though.

If I have a spot open inthe future il shoot you a pm. Be handy being so close to eachother haha
