took the oldman and my youngfella for a fish out off moreton this morning...bloody great conditions and we managed a nice little feed,we pretty well put a fish in the box every drift but towards the end it was a struggle we ended up with 11 keepers i got 5 squire a pearlie and a nice tuskie, the young fella got the bigger pearlie and a pan snapp and the oldman got 2 pan snapps as well...the oldman had an ordinay day due to loosing 2 good fish to the sharks 1 was a good sized snapp i recon around the 80+cm mark going by the head as that was all we got back from the shark...i tried the new squid vicous gulp on a 1oz elevator jig and got a few fish on it...i got a keeper squire and the smaller pearlie on it....going by the radio chat it was a little quiet out there..all the bait caught fish was on a 2 hook snelled pillie with a 1 oz glow egg sinker

Well done mate

Did better than us for sure.

I jumped the bar on first light around 5.45-6. It was pretty good run.

We had problems losing bait today. We ended up with 4 snapper around 60 mark drifting around rock, nice parrot n few moses pearch. Either than thatit was slow.

Went up to wave rider for bit. Steve got a few dollies just under legal n they dissapeared. We didnt know how to fish there. Now i learnt n if weather is good il go for run.

I think ima start going barwon banks from now on good weather days lol more fish that side. We got a few yesterday.

No trolling in bay today.

Great feed mate. For some reason some marks on for the common good spots disapeared off the GPS so we did around straddie instead.nFound one tiny pan size honeypot but.

Shane Barwon is a loooooooong run. You might need a fair few extra jerries on board. Especially if it turns rough.

Yeah i know its about 45ks out to the shallow reef we went yesterday.

I want to give it a crack one day when weathers good.

I saw a small tinny there yesterday.

we can go in my boat shane, that way if the weather is good, we get there in half an hour

Haha yeah we should. Fishing so much better that side man. Variety of fish too.

Did that 4.5 bluefin go over your lines today.

He went over my balloon too. Biggest idiot. We went of them.

Thats why i dont like fishing calm days way too many boats out. The rock was packed early. Middle reef looked worse than beacons at one stage
