i used to live in park ridge south in the 90's when i was a teenager, when there was 2 buses in the morning from teviot rd and 2 buses in the evening. i managed to ride my bike into browns plains once they opened the shopping centre there and before that i'd ride it into acacia ridge and leave it at my grandads house and catch a bus into the city mate.

Just making a point mate.

You can't just ask for some one to take you fishing. People often adevertise for deckie spots on here. Keep your ear to the ground (or eye on the screen) for this.

Work it out like the rest of us did.

I didn't go out fishing in a boat properly until well into my 20's. Don't just go out expecting people you don't know to take you out.

@Runty

I would get myself a bike except one of our close friends almost died on one so my dad won't allow me to have one

@Rosstralia

can you give me some locations (exact) if you can because I would love to go to these places, I will do it but I don't know exactly where? :)

there are bass there, took me 2 trips to catch one and on the third I cracked the code and was catching them regularly.

And Matthew, there is plenty of fishy water around New Bieth, just get off your backside and do it. If you are fat and unfit, all the more reason to get active and have a goal.

Ant there is a spot we will go to this winter for that other fish. I am already imagining the pain of watching you drag that barge around
