Hey mate,

With trevally if you can find where the bait school up then chances are they're not far behind. Usually a bend or where the water pools from running can be a good spot.

If you want to track them follow the surface action, sometimes they'll bust up around the same spot other times they maybe down stream/upstream. If you can walk along the bank, it pays to do a bit of exploring.

I've found with the tides they seem to be especially active around the build up to a full moon.

After a good rain, they'll usually stop biting. You might have to wait till the water clears again till they come back.

Cheers

Rob
