after being down and out with the dreded lerrrrgggyy!!!! for past few weeks decided to drag my bum out of bed and hit water on sunday. launched at mouth of tinnies creek around 6am ran into a fellow yakker by the name of max. decied to head up past train bridge and drift, working the shallows with sp's (on 6lb) to the mouth small whiting and sole were the only fish on the first drift. after reaching the mouth i threw a squidgy wriggler 100mm silver fox in under one of the boats and was instantly hit and taken for a run through the anchors and chains and out the other side but was rewarded with a small jew 48cm

let little bugger go to grow up and on next drift landed a decent flounder

in recent months ive caught a couple of jew in the cleveland/manly area is this common or only recent???, i know of them in the brisbane but not much else where on the south side of the river. i hope they establish themselves anyway wouldn't that be somthing to say/hear "you caught what in tinnie creek???".

all in all a good morn meet a new fisho caught lunch can't complain all the best ezy

nice report EZE tinny creek is a great fish i love it, ive recenty caught a lot of small jew the tinny creek its a great little spot.

its been ages sine we have been to tinny creek .used to have some good land based sessions at the boat ramp cast net up prawns for bait and have a bream of a time .

hey mate how are ya? heard they have been getting some good squire/snapper under bridge and some golden trevs around white patch on the flats outside the small creek mouth give em a go. have a good one ezy

im good mate glad your feelin better, id love to check it out but im up working at caloundra atm, gna take the yak out around pumistone passage 2morrow to try for some flatties (hopefully better than our trip) and maybe some whiting.
