Says its no size limit, but yes can only keep 40, and all females carrying eggs are to be returned to the water (common sense really)

those regs. are for their natural range up north, the last I was told when collecting them for display the regulations don't count down here. But you cannot transport them alive without a permit(dead's ok) and cannot use them for bait out of their natural habitat. But this could of changed.

I have a written ruling from the manager of the pest fish section of DEEDi or whatever they call themselves now that you are allowed to use dead redclaw and redclaw flesh for bait. The act specifically says "live".

I also think that you are allowed to transport live redclaw but cannot translocate them to other waters.
