recomendations for acomadation

so ash and i first wedding anniversary is coming up and we are not quite sure as to where to stay around malaney, montville or the hinterland area. we thort about noosa, mooloolaba but dont want a normal room.

what we are looking for is a place that either has king bed, fire place, spa ect, so not the average room.

has anyone stay in these areas or has any recomendations...

Lake webya cottages little cabin on your own, with the lake just a short walk that you can fish on, (caught flatties and brim there last time) it is very very nice, room has a spa, you get a little chocolate welcome pack etc. http://www.lakeweybacottages.com/ the rooms have a fire too.

Angus put up a report awhile back about a place down in NSW that I had considered taking Erin to for our anniversary. I don't think it had a spa, but definitely seemed like a nice place to spend a few quiet days.

I'll recommend Secrets as well, we'll be staying there again in late July which will be our 7th or 8th visit so we obviously love it there They are usually booked up pretty quick though so if you can't get in there then I highly recommend The Narrows Escape as well which is just up the road, also have a look at Spicers Tamarind in Maleny, we rate them quite highly as well and if you like Thai food their onsite restaurant is second to none

Yep.. do a search on Stayz.com.au. There are some PIMP places there. I'm pretty sure there's a couple of places with outside showers and spas etc.

I'm usually down the coast but the montville area is on my next list.

Have stayed at Lake Weyba Cottages as well and again thoroughly recommended. Yeah we've stayed at a few places up there
