queensland Painful waters

Had baby sitting duties down in the GC hinterland for monday and tuesday, so the chance to have a go at those little pocket bass down there could not be turned down. Little did I know just how cold the water was already, it slowed the fishing down quite a bit and nearly had me in tears each time I had to enter the water, painful is an understatement.

Picked up several bass on monday arvo but found the going very tough on tuesday with only a couple landed. Might get another chance before the end of season if I am lucky.

Thats a great looking water way you get to fish out there Dino, a couple of nice Bass is the bonus, despite the cold.

really clean looking water and great looking fish. I've never fished fresh water except when trying to eradicate Tilapia, the spinners look like they work great.

I carry a bag full of lures with me but sometimes I neverget past the humble beetlespin, 1/8oz in small creeks.

some healthy lookin bass and nice water your fishing, this cold snap has certainly put them off down my way, im hoping for one last session at least!
