Went to Balloon Dam this morning with a incognito balloon master.

First off we floated out a live turtle under a red baloon in the hope of catching a great white shark.

Then we had a problem with bass that had ingested plastic bags.

They kept on burping and inflating the bags.

Then we had problems with other balloons.

Got a few other smaller models'

Removing plastic bag.

Making certain its all gone.

Pretty good spot this Balloon Dam

Might have to go back there and have another go for the great white.

Was another ripper day.

Apart from the bass tussles and making light of the balloon thread there was one other highlight to share.

When the rain came I passed Ray his oiled leather pants (that sounds a bit erotic when written down lol)(dryzabone or similar). He was trying to put them on in a confined area where balance was not the best. After about 5 minutes he'd managed to get the left leg up to the ankle.....anyway time passed and both legs were ready to be pulled up. Even this seemed to be a bit of a struggle. Some further time elapsed and I was enjoying the struggle like a Mr Bean episode when Ray had the trousers up about 3/4's of the way. At this point we both saw the great big puffed out section - he'd put them on backwards ! ROFL :woohoo: Ray decided it was probably best to just stick with the backwards method for the day. :dry:

I might head up there for several days soon myself.

I have never fished that lake and it would be great to spend some time there and have a good look around.
