lousy weather, what have you been doing

so weather is lousy these couple of days, what have you been doing?

a mate and I wanted to head out this evening.

loaded up the boat and got to wellington point, wind was a lot worse than predicted with white peaks everywhere so we decided to head home

Same situation here..... Had boat ready for this morning but rang mate and cancelled. Was going to hit Donnybrook.

Thought it'd be a good idea to stay at home and moderate bored, cranky fishermen

Could always go visit Jords at the Camping/Caravan show...

I've been staying at hacienda holiday park at Chinderah for the long weekend fishing in the rain..... Got a heap of bream and good flatties and some choppers this morning. Sitting at kings cliffs hotel right now with some oysters and a couple schooners then back on the boat for another session

Getting the tailor on Sp's just east of the bridge and finally bought some threads busters this morning to try the deep holes on dusk.... Enjoy fellas!

Silly me went and played rugby yesterday so recovering today- sore legs and I think I broke a knuckle but it's left pinky so should be no dramas for reeling in....

All going well out to Tempests next Saturday with some mates in the AM before an arvo at Tangalooma, not worried about the rains- fingers crossed the swell is going to be ok.
