boat rego sticker question

Hey Guys

This may sound like a silly question but do any of you know if it is legal to have your boat rego stickers in different colours to black and white? I am about to replace mine and want to know what choices i have.

I have seen boats with various rego sticker colours but unsure on the legality. Booty will know

I remember reading that they need to be in contrasting colors to the boat... As long as your boat isn't rainbow, I don't see a problem

Registration

All personal watercrafts must be registered. Registration symbols must be:

displayed on both sides

at least 100 millimetres high

legible from a distance of 30 metres (m)

clearly visible in a contrasting colour to your craft

easily seen while your craft is underway.

So any contrasting colour will be fine.
