I need nerds help!!

Having been given a practically new acer eepc 900ha from my niece now I can connect it wireless to my pocket wifi but still cant access any Internets? haven't had this problem before with any other laptops of PCs? dunno what shes done to it ? please helps

It'll be the settings on te discombobulator. Probably needs replacing

At work I just pour coffee into the back of it to try to perk it up. If that doesn't work I follow this with a call to IT and sometimes the fire brigade.

In the end I get passed the problem.

Had the same problem with mine and think it turned out to be the code itself like the wifi code try caps lock no caps lock etc etc and see if that works if not call an it guy who services computers and they should be able to help sounds like a problem with the wifi if you can connect to your pocket one if that doesn't work turn it on and off and try again

Repeat then throw it at a wall if it doesn't work

You could try emptying the cache in the browser, restore factory defaults in network settings and try to re-connect to the pocket wifi, and fo course... turning everythnig off and on again

I am no computer tech, but it sounds like it is just something simple if it is picking up the network it is probably not hardware problems

Is it showing your home wireless in the available networks list? Or anyone else's for that matter?

And another option, have you blocked wireless connection from your router?
