The B swear filter.

I tried to put this up in the website problems but it seems to have disappeared.

sc rap

sc rape

sc raped

sc raping

All get blocked by the swear filter which thinks that you are saying

[bad word deleted].

I reported this several months ago and the problem has not been resolved.

Could you please look into the problem.

Is anyone else having problems with the swear filter?

It is a pain in the proverbial when you try to find a swear word that does not even exist in your post.

I usually give up and do not bother.

Yes it can be annoying when a word that you find perfectly acceptable is not allowed.

I tried to name a North American fish species called C rappie and the filter would not allow it.

It's because you are not allowed to say 'sc rap', or any derivative of 'sc rap', either. This is because in another language it means ......{well I can't tell you, it seems :evil: }

We'll just have to wait until Johnny touches up the existing swear filter or gets a new one I guess.

One thing for sure is it is better than the last one which was non existent. I have better things to do with my time on AFO than edit every third post made because people cannot accept what is simply decent public etiquette .
