queensland Couple of sessions

Hey guys

Been a bit slack lately and havent reported on any sessions, so thought Id throw up a few pics from the last week or two.

Had a few quick sessions out at mud with runty last week in his tinny, for a few fish, nothing special but some solid tailor, squire and good numbers of bream in the shallows on the light gear which made for some great fun Had a bit of fun chasing the tuna, and lost a few good fish, guessing snaps which cleaned us up a number of times. Might have to beef it up to 4lb next time... Gulps and Damaki armershads were doing the damage, fishing them quite slowly.

I haven't had a great start on the bass, and have had a few donuts to start the season off Last night, my bro and I hit up a few spots around the area for bass, and finally got back into the action, managing a few on surface. Was great to get my brother into the action and he was stoked with his first bass on surface. All fish were caught on jitterbugs in a mix of colours.

Havent been out in my boat for months now, but over the last few weekends, I have begun to start decking it from scratch. The plan is to fit it with livewells, electric, fishfinders etc, setup for comp fishing next year. Just finished framing the back deck this arvo, but don't have any photos of it yet, so will just put an old one up from the other day...

Good to you getting a few Dan. The boat sounds like it will be great when you finish. That's a good bass you got there. I have only pulled 3 out from my spot so far this season hope it picks up soon. Do you want to join me for a session down there when they come on a bit better?

Yep always keen, sounds good. Actually had a few casts at ya spot the other night after work, no luck either.
