Coochie 22/9/12

Went out yesterday to coochie to try and see if I could land anything for the comp from land. after about 20 min of flicking and a few solid hits and one dropped fish. i pulled out this 54cm flathead. It annoyed a few other fisherman who had their baits out for hours and i was there all of 20 min and bring him on a castaic j shad 3' in gold and white. was defintley a good fight on my new sienna 1000 and my pelagics2-4kg outfit. took me about 5 min to land him. Ended up giving him to a single mother who took her son for his first fishing trip. Hope they enjoyed the feed. Anyhow enough chat heres pics.

indeed. i have 2 flattys still in the freezer and 2 bass so ive got enough of a feed to last me for a bit. so ill only take it home if a close friend or family member wants me to bring it home. haha i was like can you hold my camera for 2 secs im just gonna release him and she dropped her jaw. she goes can i have him for me and my son. hes never eaten flathead and it was a must then that i gave her what i consider my favourite eating fish
