Following on from the “What’s this little guy thread?â€Â

I have a challenge for you all; it is a Mystery Fish competition!

The rules:

1. A picture of a Mystery Fish is placed in this thread

2. The person placing the picture most KNOW what the fish is 100% sure.

3. The fish must be known to inhabit the waters of SE QLD.

4. The picture maybe of a fish you have caught or from the internet.

5. People guess the name (common or Latin) of the fish pictured.

6. First correct guess has the honour of submitting the next picture.

7. File should be names mf1.jpg or something similar (not flathead.jpg as it defeats the challenge)

8. This is for fun and a better understanding of what is in our waters please keep emotions out. THIS IS FUN.

Nah, it is. Also known as Jade Perch. Look at the link I put up, it has the same photo on the 1st from the left-down the bottom of the page

Wasn't really my guess. I saw STU say Barqu Grunter which is kinda like Barcoo Grunter, so I typed it into google images and there it was. Then I read that they were also called Jade Perch.

So I thibnk that it is STU's go. He deserves it:)
