so im keen as to land my first jack, yet lack experience out in the water chasing them, and although i have chased and chased, the closest i came was when i went out with cobia and got belted!

ive litterally given up on chasing all other species until i land one of these little beautys.

so if you know some spots and keen for a tag along im up for it! i have all the gear im going to need and im even happy enough to use my boat ( quintrex tropy 420 side console with minn kota ipilot.

i just need the experts now haha.

im happy enough to travel i just want one of these off my bucket list haha.

Sounds like you got mangrove jack fever mate, bugger u missed that one the other week .. It looked to be a good fish too, There are some big fish on that rock mate..

i know, ive been waiting for this storm to come through, but left it a bit late, went for a cruise up the caboolture river with kiwi pete this afternoon, and to try out the new minn kota, but when the lightning started i looked at him and said "yep time to go home now haha" so i bitched it and just got the boat on the trailer when the rain came through.

poor pete, passengered it for 2 hours on the boat and fish for 10 minutes haha.
