Daily deals etc. you can usually still get past deals too. Some deals are really good, some the same as elsewhere. Just see what they are offering then do a search on google and compare. Overall they rate pretty good

The club night will be on Friday Night at all stores will be worthwhile but then again may be a good night to hit the nerang for whiting as youngy should be working.

I refuse to even look at their catalogs these days. Im absolutely sick of going down to the local BCF only to find the item listed on special in their catalog I want is "out of stock".

You would think if they were going to put something on sale, they might actually get a sufficient supply in to the store?

Yes Ray i will be working, my advice would be to come to the club night then go to the Nerang for a whiting fish.

Run in tide hasn't been great lately, run out has been much better but with an 11pm high it would be a late night though, cheers wayne

You would think if they were going to put something on sale, they might actually get a sufficient supply in to the store?

Last year they had the Stradic FI on sale for $169, but ran out of stock so sold me a ci4 stradic for $169 (Down from $289 at the time) so I suggest its worth another shot!

I talked them into selling me a 1000 size reel instead of the advertised 2500 when they ran out, worked for me because I wanted the 1000 anyway

they had a tyrnos combo deal with gimble, none of the gimbles left so made them sell me the better one with harness instead for same price, can't complain about BCF,

when the new springfield store opens it will be my shop to go to always for bait and tackle

I'm (once again) contemplating a baitcaster - what do people think about the DAIWA Aird. What else should I consider (Bass and Cod targeted).

Don't know about the Aird Baden but the shimano caenan is a good little budget caster that will easily handle bass and cod, the Aird is apparently good value for money.

The aird is not a bad reel, but for the bass and smaller cod, shop around for a Daiwa Coastal. Good reel for a young whipper snapper like yourself to get good casts without the ellicat-nests :whistle:

Went in this morning at ippy, and Ecogear BP's only 5 bucks in the bargain bin out the front. Still atleast 10-15 packets left.... Had a good stock up myself haha

Bait advertising is illegal and if you think you have been 'baited' as in they advertse a product at a rediculously low price but then only stock one of the product so as to get all the mug punters in the door to sell them a higher priced alternative then you can make a complaint to the ACCC. Not sure how you would go proving your case though.

And as for 'making' the retailer sell an alternative for the same price, they are under no obligation to comply with your requests, assertions, or demands.

I ducked into the Nerang store for the club night tonight, grabbed a few plackies and won the first raffle draw. Got a nice new eski for my trouble.

That's now 2 pairs of spotters, and a few other things. Nothing wrong with club nights.
