queensland baits to use in Brisbane river

Hi all, Im new to boating and fishing and am just wondering what are the best baits to be useing in the Brisbane River, what times and any particular places on the river to fish, i will probably launch boat at Jindalee, just want to take the family out and catch some fish

servo prawns, leave them in the sun for a couple of hours the catfish love them

Hard to go wrong with worms, although I suspect Jeff's catfish prediction wont be far wrong. You might get on to some bream.

if you dont mind what type of fish you want to catch just get some prawns or mullet from the caltex servo near the jindalee bowls club. you will catch plenty of catfish near the jindalee boat ramp, and there are bull sharks around too
