Catfish any good for live bait for bull sharks

Hi went out shark fishing on the weekend for the second time with no luck of landing a shark, caught 2 rays 4 catfish, 1 large fish that jumped about 5 times think it was a Jew fish as it jumped off the hook right at the boat, but caught a couple of smaller catfish would they be any good as live bait if we caught some next time we went.

Yep, smaller ones work.

Put the hooks in the rear end beyond the spikes.

Live bream and bass work pretty good for sharks.

catfish are good!, have caught a few sharks on catfish, just cut there spikes off.

either put the smaller ones out whole or the larger ones cut in half or fillet them
