Well,

Not much to report:

1 x very very small stingray

2 x 35cm tailor

1 x 40cm tailor.

One of the 35cm tailor was kept as bait, which was then filleted and then caught the 40cm tailor, and hopefully mum at home is proud of her dinner. I would have liked to have hooked up the entire tailor as bait, but didn't have the required hooks on board and the skipper thought otherwise as this was our first visit since the flying 8 foot shark the week before (check previous posts) and wanted to make sure the shark wasn't enticed.

Tailor were caught throwing mullet fillet or chrome slug through the surf at the pin, going from the southern side into the white wash on the incoming tide this morning. There were bites elsewhere, kalinga banks etc, but nothing hooked up (normally whiting in this area anyway).

Lost an anchor. Need how to learn to tie more than 15 granny knots.
