Gee dont let my wife see this.

Tillie cull day a few weeks ago, after I told Ted the wife was brewing her own, he said I hope not ginger beer,as they have a rep for blowing up.

Well next day we heard an explosion, one bottle in a box blew up,wife then decided to try and save the rest by putting them in the fridge, she wiped one down and put it in the fridge, then while wiping the next one it blew up in her face, lucky she only got a few scratchs. but not to be put off she changed to plastic bottles and carried on.

I haven't had one explode yet but some I used to leave 3-4 weeks to ensure they fermented as much as they could.

With the keg now I won't have that problem.

Last blonde I did I used 15gms cascade at 45, 15 at 5, coppafloc at 5. Secondary used gelatine to drop all the solids out and was pretty good. Thinking I might do the next brew with it.

Do yourself a favour and get your hops from craftbrewer but. Much better quality. Pretty average from the other place.
