queensland How is the upper Coomera River looking?

Hey guys,

I am keen to get out a go for a fish off the banks on the Coomera river, around the weir and the enterance to the lake. Has anyone been up there recently? Is it fishable, is it worth it?

I contacted the Gold Coast fisheries, but they were no help as they haven't been up to that part of the river and told me that I'd just have to head down there and check it out.

I mainly wanna chance some Jack with soft plastics and Thready busters.

Is the tinny up and going Doss? I'd take the yak, but depending on the force of the current, I may just be a leaf in rapids. I'll be over this arvo anyway dude!
