Whilst the fishing conditions certainly aren't ideal, Gloomy and I had cabin fever from too much rain and, in my case, too much study. Time to get out on the water!

I'm not very brave when it comes to getting right out in the open water in my kayak, so we went and did the next best thing by fishing the mouth of Nudgee Creek. It was a beautiful morning, and the catfish kept it interesting for me; no such luck for Andrew. There was even a stray 22-23cm bream in there, so we hope the fishing is back on soon.
