Looks like a Brown Sweetlip-Blubber Lip Bream (MILF)

We first though a bream of some sort, but it doesn't have any teeth and the shape of the tail wasn't typical of the bream I am used to, so that threw us.

Looks like a very silvery mother in law, caught in very clear water maybe? Here's one from discoloured water; you can see lips and fins are the same.

too short and squat to be a blackall IMO... they have a really long tail saddle, this guy does not.

think it is a brown morwong / brown blubber lips / blubber lip bream.

the flash throws the colours off a bit... looks like there is some brown banding there when you zoom in.
