Hi,

stumbled across these European pike lures, they are BIG soft plastics that seem to have a very nice action, wondering if anybody has tried them? and if they were any good?

I've posted a link below and you can see a video of the lures action, I reckon a nice slow retrieve would have flat head or bream all over them!

You are keen to catch an eel :) As you know I caught one recently and I tell you how easy it was to catch one. Picture this, the mozzies were biting so we parked parallel to the creek. I wound down the passanger side to have the line out the window, both the boy and I sat in the car. When I had a bite, the boy held the line taught and I went outside to wind in the line.

They are really easy to catch, like crabs at a folk festival.

You can try lures, but I think that they are not fussy eaters.

Just to clarify, A European or Northern pike is nothing like an eel, shaped like a saratoga except the head that has a pointed nose and a nasty set of teeth, a top tier fresh water predator that happen to like eating eels (like many other predatory fish - hence my question).

I Might give them a whirl looking at the cost, could be the next best thing or a dust gatherer at the bottom of the tackle box :woohoo:
