queensland NPD Quiet and Calm April 29

Put some pots in a couple of days ago and cleared them this beautiful calm morning. Results were less than ordinary with two shrimp traps yielding only 5 shrimp and 7 tiny red claw and 2 pots

producing 17 very edible red claw. Went for a troll down past the second buoy had a hit on a green Flicks 3 metre Cobra and a few minutes later a 45cm bass attacked my other trolling rod rigged with a 4 metre Cordell Big O in soft pastel lime green back and silver white belly. Good fun while it lasted so had to pack up to be home by noon. Ray was on the water so it will be interesting to see his report. PC has been done over so I'll take my pic box Brownie next trip. Good to see you are back out there, they have just started to take lures again we might be in for a good winter.
