No Muddies but a good day never the less

It was a long shot but after the dog ate the first Mud crab I had caught  I went back to Caloundra to try my luck with my twin boys.

We drop the pots in an checked them periodically throughout the day for nil result and the boys were a little disappointed.

Anyway during the day we threw some SP around to see what we could find. Our hopes were high after seeing a boat taking photos of a 1 meter Jew taken on SP. Then a little later I saw the guys from SEQFA (mangrove Jack Video) and they hooked up to a good fish and landed a nice threadfin salmon, took about 5-10 minutes to land.

I was lucky enough to land my first ever mini GT, but I'm on the board. :)

All in all we had a great day, pity about the crabs not playing ball.

The 3 flathead produce a nice meal
