Motor problems, any help?

Hey fellas just a question with a problem I'm having with my motor, I have a 15hp tohastsu and the motor was running perfect then I didn't take the boat out for about a month and now when I give it full throttle the motor cuts out like its not sucking fuel, any ideas on what I should do about it?

Hi Jezz, have you put fresh fuel in? Sometimes if fuel is left for a while the octane rating may drop and it won't burn cleanly-at idle and full throttle.

Not a mechanic but it had happened on the old man's boat growing up...

Check all the hoses and fittings first. Could be a crack somewhere. similar happened to me after i got back from OS.

Check the pressurization of the hose; might want to drain the fuel in the fuel line so fresh fuel can enter; the pressure knob of the fuel tank is open. Hope it helps..
