Went to NPD this morning.

Did not go to usual spots but still fish about.

Silver trout.

Kept Binder company till he had to leave early

It was too late to then head downstream so I did a bit of trolling and caught some yellow trout on lures

I saw you out there on Thursday with a couple deckies. Gave you wave and you looked like you were on your way home.

Yet to catch a NPD yella.

My son caught and released a large eel.

Got a feed of 15 good size redclaw and 4 bass to round a great afternoon in perfect weather.

Your shrimp trap instructions were good, I just have to find a better place to drop it. Only caught 8 shrimp after leaving it for 5 days.

I've been struggling with shrimp as well out there. They do tend to drop away in winter. Got my pots in the third spot in 4 days.

First day not a shrimp in 4 pots, second day, 2 shrimp. Pain when the fish are on the chew and the shrimp are scarce!

Look to get them as close to lilies as you can.
