queensland Winter whiting

Hi im looking at taking the missis out tomorrow chasing a few winter whiting any suggestions on good areas to try? Closer to victoria point the better but am happy to travel for result, its my first winter in brisbane and havent got much of a clue of the area.. I did see a heap of boats half way between cleveland and peel yesterday would they be chasing whiting? and when is the best tide or does it change on areas?

Any help would be great cheers scott
