queensland brisbane river last night 05/06/2013

so the evening started out, I missed a opportunity to head out with aggro, so I sat twiddling my thumbs itching to get out on the water.. being lazy to a certain extend didn't really wanna go out by myself to the same usual haunts.

everyone turned down my offer: have boat will travel haha:

so I posted on facestalker for any takers as it was last minute.

Ryan txt me , " im in...just have to pick me up "

im yep lets do it. so armed with boat steez and a handful of fish arrow 4" I was on my way.

so half way there I see aggro is looking for another decky, im yup cool ill only be out for an hour or so, so I figured for sure im for that too.

well by 10.30pm with no outlook in heading home just yet as the snapper were on and the strike were almost every cast, I had to message aggro with deepest apology's and bail out of today as I couldn't imagine I would get any sleep at all. ( sorry aggro I never usually bail out of a commitment)

so I kept 1 snapper thanks to Ryan for catching that for me haha, and the rest went back safe n sound for another fight.

ended up getting home and into bed just shy of 4am this morning.

Good on you Rob, no problem on pulling out mate, I understand when your on a hot session, it's hard to leave. I don't rely on deckies for me to go fishing anyway, I just offer deckie spots because I have the extra space on board and there are plenty of people who would like to get out but don't have a boat. We didn't land any as big as yours, but had an awesome day. It was the type of weather you dream of on the bay. Brissy river tonight??? I'm keen....

From 55 to early 60,s. On fish arrow plastics and all snaps (Ryan's) on damiki armour shad.

Cheers for a top night out Robbie, had a great time. The snaps were playing a bit dirtier than they usually do at this spot, with a couple of brickings thrown into the mix, but all up, very fun.
