queensland Visit to the car park

A mate of mine came up from Canberra, and was overly keen to get out for a fish.

So geared up and headed out at 4.00am. Got to Harries and started drifting first drop of a the Zman bubble gum and Robbie was on with a 55cm Snapper. Next drift he was on with a 40cm snapper. next drift he was on with a 35cm snapper. The fog was quite thick so visibility was down, on our next drift (same line we had done the previous time) a boat appeared anchored right where we had got the previous 3 fish.

I changed the drift and another boat appeared. fog cleared and what do you know, car park.

Robbie was happy with his catch.

So we called it a day at 6.30
