queensland Bass Hungry NPD

Couldn't help myself had to go back out this am. Had a reasonable morning got 14 bass. First 2 were on atomic SPs slow rolled along the bottom and the rest were on purple spinnerbaits.

A chap fishing near me with his children caught over 30 bass and a yella on bait. One of the kids pulled up a jackal lure, I asked if he wanted to sell it and he said $5 so i said sold

Most of the fish this am were in the low 40s, no whoppers. Spinnerbaits were 3/4 oz slow rolled along the bottom [but not to slow]

now thats a good session for bass that are not schooled up go the plastics last few times i have been there i couldnt get a hit on them good work mate

Andrew. slow rolled on the bottom worked for me,be game give it a go.

Whatnow.If Am start dark and work up to light, if Pm the other way around. The SP jig heads were 1/2oz to keep it on the bottom. Sometimes I use 3/4 if the fish are out deep.

Brian. I could have tagged them as out of all the fish I caught through the week I never took one home. Still got 2 feeds in the freezer.`ha ha
